Mission 5 — Arsenal
Discover the plugins and MCPs that heretics use every day. Pick yours and build your setup.
You already have the basics. Now it's time to build the arsenal.
MCPs and plugins are what transform Claude from a generic assistant into something that feels made specifically for you.
The difference between MCP and Plugin
MCP connects Claude to an external tool. It's a bridge. You connect Notion and Claude can now read and write to your documents.
Plugin is a complete package. It bundles MCPs, skills, and settings for a specific use case. It's like installing an app: one thing, everything working.
MCPs worth having
For personal organization
Notion — read and write to your documents through the terminal

For communication
Gmail — read, reply to, and organize your emails without opening a browser
claude mcp add gmail https://mcp.google.com/gmail
Slack — access messages and channels right from the terminal

For work

claude mcp add canva https://mcp.canva.com
How to choose
Don't install everything at once. Choose one or two tools you already use in your daily life. Connect them. Use them for a week.
If it makes sense, add more. If you don't use it, remove it.
The ideal setup is simple: only what you actually use.
Mission proof
Install at least one MCP, use it to do something real (schedule a meeting, create a document, research a topic) and post a showcase on the wall showing the result. Worth 100 XP.
